Avoid visiting archaeological sites during the hot hours of the day. At these
hours prefer museums.
Taxi is
a common mean of transportation in Greece.
Taxis run on a meter. Also you will find rentals available in Pylos
Public water in area is not recommended for drinking.
When you’re in area,
it’s always good to have a mosquito repellent with you. Mosquitoes can become
very annoying, especially in the evening and in green areas
If you have money
limitations, be careful with the prices. As everywhere in the world, tourists
are often target of economic exploitation.
Please don’t trust
100% timetables in Greece. Avoid organizing your routes relying on last moment
mean especially if you have to catch another mean of transport.
